How are you innovating to advance preventive medicine?
Based on my background in physical therapy, and working with Emergence Mentor Dr. Scott Delp PhD (Stanford Professor of Bioengineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Orthopaedic Surgery), we are creating a remote movement assessment platform grounded in vision AI that enables clinicians and patients to measure changes in their gait and receive personalized exercise prescription. Users can improve walking stability and confidence through training sessions, progress tracking, and goal-setting from home, promoting healthier aging.
How has Emergence contributed to your work?
The Emergence Accelerator was truly transformative for me as a founder. The program's focus on impact helped me stay grounded in the “why” behind my venture and pushed me to think critically about how to create meaningful change in the health space. From workshops on mission-aligned business models to one-on-one mentorship with successful founders, every element of the program was thoughtfully designed to support both personal growth and venture development. I left the program not only with greater clarity and direction, but with a renewed commitment to building something that truly matters.
How did coaches, industry and investor collaborators impact your success?
The focus on social impact made me feel more comfortable networking knowing that there was alignment. Having a mentor was invaluable. I appreciated having guest speakers. The social events were also a fantastic opportunity to network.
