I know what it means when the system fails vulnerable people. I grew up in a low-income household with addict parents and lost my mom to opioids. That experience is a big part of why I’m building solutions for the intersection of Medicaid and behavioral health.

Today, Medicaid, behavioral health, community health, and other safety net providers are asked to do more with less. Teams are navigating complex compliance requirements, manual chart review, fragmented workflows, and constant pressure on reimbursement – all while trying to care for highly vulnerable populations.

I’m building solutions to help these organizations automate compliance and quality improvement workflows, reduce denials, save staff time, and move margin from admin to care.

How are you innovating to advance preventive medicine?

We are building AI-powered infrastructure for Medicaid behavioral health and safety net providers. The platform helps teams audit documentation, catch billing and compliance issues earlier, and turn that work into more practical quality improvement. Over time, the goal is to give providers better visibility across documentation, performance, and operations so they can protect revenue, strengthen care delivery, and serve patients more effectively.

How has Emergence contributed to your work?

The Emergence focus on building a real business, not a project, was a gamechanger. I appreciated that Emergence leadership had people in mind who they helped directly put me in contact with (and I still am, thank you!). Warm connections are always best.

How did coaches, industry and investor collaborators impact your success?

The network of peers, operators, researchers and investors makes me feel like I have even more of a right to win building my company. The coaching from industry mentors was fantastic.
