Stanford faculty, students, and researchers are passionate about translating their research to solving global challenges in planetary and societal health more than ever before. We aim to provide funding for research in these areas and create a pipeline for such innovations.
The Emergence program at the Stanford Biodesign Program convenes an in-depth understanding of biology and the solution-oriented mindset of engineering to tackle these challenges. We will also collaborate with other initiatives underway on campus to organize and enhance Stanford contributions in these areas.
