Hamza Farrukh

Hamza is at the forefront of combating the global water crisis through the design and implementation of scalable technologies. His journey, deeply rooted in his own experiences with water scarcity during his upbringing in Pakistan, has shaped his approach to innovative solutions. Since 2014, Hamza has led the Solar Water Project, a venture that has successfully delivered clean water to over 150,000 people in six countries. Hamza brings a diversity of expertise, combining financial acumen from an eight-year stint at Goldman Sachs with hands-on experience in product design and IoT solutions, invaluable in emerging markets. His significant contributions were recognised in 2020 when he received the Points of Light award from Her Majesty the Queen. Additionally, Hamza has earned accolades such as Forbes 30 Under 30 and the Princess Diana Award, underscoring his unwavering commitment to providing sustainable and accessible water solutions globally.
